Het grootste designevenement van Europa staat bekend om haar variatie aan aanbod en innovatieve karakter. Tijdens deze week vol inspirerend design zijn kun je op allerlei locaties verspreid over Eindhoven exposities bekijken en evenementen bijwonen. Een van die locaties is de Bijenkorf. Daar vind je bovendien een uniek stuk printmateriaal: een [vloersticker](https://www.filmolux.nl/zelfkevende-folie-voor-vloerstickers)als opvallende catwalk.

## Dutch Design Week 2016: Modebelofte

Tijdens de Dutch Design Week ([DDW](http://www.ddw.nl/)) vind je in de Bijenkorf de tentoonstelling van [Modebelofte](http://www.modebelofte.com/index.html). Modebelofte is een internationaal platform voor modetalent waarbij de ontwikkeling van de mode-industrie centraal staat. Tijdens de tentoonstelling met het thema ‘Adaptive Travelers’ worden de creaties van net afgestudeerde en innovatieve internationale talenten getoond. Je ziet in de etalage van het winkelpand al sporen van de tentoonstelling, maar om deze te bezoeken moet je op de eerste en derde verdieping of het dak van het gebouw zijn. En de vloerstickers wijzen je de weg.

## Jij loopt over de catwalk

Mode en talent spelen een belangrijke rol bij Modebelofte. De aankleding rondom de tentoonstelling is er zoveel mogelijk op afgestemd om de bezoekers van de tentoonstelling mee te nemen in de innovatieve wereld van jonge modeontwerpers en het thema. Bij binnenkomst loop je over de zwart-gele catwalk en waan je je een avontuurlijk model. Die catwalk is geen verhoging, maar een vloersticker. Je hoeft dus niet bang te zijn om eraf te vallen, dat is onmogelijk. Het materiaal is daarnaast ook slip-proof en slijtage brengt amper risico’s met zich mee. Bij een tijdelijk evenement zoals de Dutch Design Week is de kans op slijtage van dit materiaal sowieso erg klein.

## Hoe werkt die vloersticker?

[Dit printmateriaal](https://blog.filmolux.nl/zelfkevende-folie-voor-vloerstickers) is zeer geschikt is voor printen op groot formaat. Het werd in 2015 zelfs bekroond met een Viscom award in de categorie Large format printing. De folie is speciaal ontwikkeld voor vloerstickers en kan aangebracht worden op de meeste gladde vloeroppervlakken. Zoals je de collega's van [Starfoto](http://www.starfoto.nl/) op de foto's ziet doen. Je kunt de catwalk live bekijken in Eindhoven, maar voor wie niet van plan was de Dutch Design Week te bezoeken kan in [dit filmpje](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUKczZrN-Io) zien hoe de sticker in de praktijk werkt. Zelfs na het passeren van wandelaars, skateboarders, een paard en een motorvoertuig ligt de sticker er nog goed bij!
